Sophie and her baby brother

Yesterday we took Sophia in for her 15 month check-up. I can't believe how much she has grown! She walked in and used the "big" scale. She has gained 2 1/2 lbs and grown 3" since her one year check-up 3 months ago. So, she is 20 lbs and 31" tall! She is getting so big! The only other thing that is going on with us is that we all have head colds right now. And that sucks! Also, 2 nights ago Benjamin got to feel our little son move for the first rime! He is very strong and loves to kick! Way different from his sister. She would do a slow stretch and would toss and turn a lot. Sophia has been learning names of her cousins. She started doing it while we were at Caroline's funeral in Austin. Her favorite names to say is her cousin Hannah, "Annah" then Adam, "Ada". It is so cute! She misses them a lot. I showed her a picture of Hannah on the computer and she freaked saying, "Annah, Annah, Annah..." over and over again each time getting a little louder. Now I can pick up her doll and ask her "Who is this?" and she will say "Annah". Very cute!

What has been going on

Sorry everyone. I haven't felt like blogging much lately. Hopefully I will get over morning sickness soon and I can blog some more. But here is the run down of our little family.

Benjamin is doing good. He dyed his hair hot pink for his sister last week. Don't worry we have pictures. Now it is all shaved off. He is really enjoying his classes this semester.

Malynda is starting to feel better. Lately I have been so tired and have no energy to clean the house. So the days I feel good I spend cleaning. :( We have a doctor's appointment at the end of this week so I will try to blog about that. I am really excited to have 2 little baby bugs! Well OK one is more a toddler than a baby, but I am still excited!

Sophia is darling! She started walking on Aug 30th. She dances when ever she hears music. Even when the organ started playing for general conference! She loves to be chased around the house and get into the cupboard where the pots and pans are. She now has 6 teeth. Sophie is starting to get the hang of self feeding, Yay! She has become really attached to the doll that her Papa and Grammy gave her for Christmas. She will kiss her dolly on her forehead all the time. She is going to be an awesome big sister! Sophia has become extremely affectionate lately. It is so sweet to get hugs and kisses from her!

Baby Terry seems to be doing well. I swear I can feel this little one moving already! I am showing faster with this one than I did with Sophia. For those of you who don't know I am now 16 weeks along and due March 22nd. I will try to update as soon as I have more info.

Blogging Catch-up!!!

Alright everyone, I know it has been forever since I have posted anything on our blog. We have just been so busy but I promise to post a lot over the next couple of days. We are all doing well. Sophie is mobile now, has started talking and has a tooth with more on the way! Benjamin is taking classes over the summer. And I am just trying to keep us all afloat. Stay tuned... My Growing Baby

I was just remembering that when Sophie was born she weighed 6 lbs and 8 oz and was 20 " long. Today Benjamin and I decided to weigh and measure Sophia. So here are her stats. She is about 26 1/2 " long and weighs a little over 16 lbs. This is just our measurements. She will have another doctors appointment in May when she turns 9 months old. I can't believe how much she has grown! I will try to post some more recent pictures of her soon.

Sophia's 6 month check-up

I can't believe that my Sophie is 6 months old! Crazy! Anyways, here are her current stats from her Doctor's appointment last week.

Weight: 13 lbs - 10th %tile
Length: 25 1/2" - 25th %tile
Head Circumference: 16 1/2"

She didn't grow a lot from her 4 mo check-up because she got sick a month ago and lost a couple pounds. But she is better now and is finally getting her appetite back!

I almost forgot her baby food likes and dislikes. Sophia still loves Rice cereal. She is not a big fan of applesauce. She loves pears though. I think she likes the gritty texture. She loves the butternut squash too! Next up are carrots and peaches.

A few days after Sophie turned 5 months old we gave her Rice Cereal for the first time. She did better than I thought she would with it. Here are some pictures we took. There are some really cute ones!

Like Father, like Daughter

Benjamin really enjoys playing video games. Every time he plays and Sophie is around she is so captivated by what is going on. Benjamin thought it would be cute to put her in the recliner with a remote. I have to agree. She is super cute!

In these pictures she was smiling up a storm but she kept moving making a good picture hard to get.
